We're taking off in Brighton with a passion for creating an accessible platform for both established & emerging artists. With a combined experience of over 30 years in the Art Industry, Beau & Bobby are looking to encourage an eclectic mix of high quality submissions from Brighton & beyond to the Unitarian this May.
Flying Circus aims to be truly affordable for both artist & buyer, offering our visitors the opportunity to add to their art collection from a broad selection of artworks.

Find us on the central route of the Artists Open Houses trail.
Housed within the walls of the historic Unitarian, smack bang in the centre of Brighton, this space enjoys heavy footfall & is the perfect setting for showing artwork at it's best. Coupled with a Private View that will be sure to draw crowds & capitalise on Artists Open Houses season, this show is set to be a standout event on the arts calendar.

Theme
This will be an open-themed art fair. May is a great time of year to exhibit. Buyers are looking for new pieces to brighten up their walls and collections. It's a great chance to show off the artwork you've been working on over the winter months. As long as it's great quality, we'd love to include it in our show.
Submissions
Early bird submissions cost £10 each for entries made before 16th March (£15 thereafter)
You can make multiple submissions (up to 3) , however will need to pay the fee each time.
Paying this fee is not a guarantee of inclusion in the show & fees are non refundable.

Submitting your work
Once you have paid the submission fee, email a good quality image/s (less than 1MB each) to flyingcircusartfair@gmail.com
Size Limits and requirements
This Open Call is for wall hung works only. 3D Relief pieces with a depth up to 20cm from the wall are permitted.
(No ceramics or sculpture - sorry!)

Commission & Fees
Successful participants chosen for the show will need to pay a participant fee based on the size of their work to guarantee entry. This fee will cover marketing & running costs of the show.
All sales will be subject to a 20% commission fee + any card transaction fee (1.5%) - Artists to receive funds for sales within 1 week of show close.

Show Times - 23 - 30 May 10am-5pm Daily (Late evening showings TBD)
Private View - 23 May 2026 from 7pm

Artist Responsibilities

We encourage visits from the artists but invigilation is not required & will be taken care of by the organisers.
